The Preconstruction Phase:
Doing a constructability review of the construction documents. Design problems, missing details, overwritten specifications, etc., if not caught early, result in time delays and extensive cost overruns. OSHPD and DSA projects are especially prone to these issues.
Project site visit(s) to make sure that the design will work with the actual, physical site conditions. The construction documents must not just be constructible in theory; they must be reviewed to ensure that they are constructible at THIS project site.
Generating a practical, logical, CPM project schedule, or reviewing a project schedule generated by others. Time delays cost money for everyone. The better the baseline schedule, and the better the schedule is maintained throughout the project, the more efficient the whole project.
Suggesting value engineering solutions that result in a better quality product for less money.
The Construction Phase:
Track the project paperwork through a project management software system. We have experience working with most of those currently in use in the industry. We are willing to use whichever your organization is most familiar with.
Reviewing RFIs, Submittals, and Change Orders. The better these documents are tracked and expedited, the better the project will progress.
Tracking plan changes and paperwork for you through PlanGrid or another, similar, product.
The Closeout Phase:
Assisting you with the “Close Out” portion of your projects – either by helping to generate documents, or in reviewing those generated by others. As-Built Drawings and Warranty/O&M binders are a specialty of ours.
